AREI meeting with Mr. Alin Chitu, State Secretary at the Ministry of Finance
On March 4th, 2021, AREI President and the Secretary General had a meeting with Mr. Alin Chitu, State Secretary at the Ministry of Finance. Mr. Iulian Ardeleanu, General Director of the Fiscal Code Department at Ministry of Finance and other representatives of Mr. Chitu’s cabinet also participated in the meeting.
One of the key public policy topics approached during the discussions focused on the economic and social impact concerning the measure of postponing the implementation of the increased 5% VAT threshold for housing, that was enacted through the Emergency Ordinance nr. 226/2020 approved by the Government at the end of December 2020.
