AREI meeting with Mr. Lorant Antal, President of the Energy Commission in the Senate

On July 14^th, the AREI President and representatives of the AREI management team participated in a meeting with Mr. Lorant Antal, President of the Energy Commission in the Senate. The agenda of discussions focused on the issues related to the new provisions adopted last year to the Law nr. 372/2005 on energy performance of building, with respect to the obligation set for the owners of residential and non-residential buildings to install e-charging stations for electric cars, following the AREI Position Paper on this topic that was submitted previously to the Energy Commission.

Considering the impact of this topic on the industry, the AREI community is committed to work closely with the authorities by sharing our expertise and relevant input from the market, to identify the best solutions to the current situation.
