AREI members contributions to help fighting the effects of Covid-19 pandemic

In these times of unprecedented challenges for the entire country, the AREI members remain deeply involved in supporting the authorities and the affected communities to fight against the effects of Covid-19 pandemic. The Globalworth Foundation donated 200.000 euros to the Romanian Red Cross to help fund medical supplies as well as logistical, human and material support to aid our country’s response to the threat of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).

NEPI Rockcastle has launched one of the most important fund raising campaign across CEE together with the Red Cross to support all the doctors and medical personnel fighting in the first line with the pandemic with all the necessary protective gear. The company also donated 150.000 euros to the Red Cross national divisions in CEE to support the fight against Covid-19. Ceetrus Romania, through the retail company Auchan, with the support of the Ministry of Health and the Department for Emergency Situations will set up a hospital near Bucharest for the treatment of mild Covid-19 cases.
