Meeting with Mr. Gheorghe Pecingina, State Secretary at Ministry of Public Finances

On June 17th, 2020, the AREI President, Ms. Antoanela Comsa participated in a meeting with the State Secretary at Ministry of Public Finances, Mr. Gheorghe Pecingina. The meeting was also attended by Mr. Iulian Ardeleanu, Deputy General Director at Directorate-General of Fiscal Information, National Agency for Fiscal Administration. The main focus of the discussion was to address the implications of the 5 % VAT threshold applicable for housing, based on the most recent market analysis and identify the best approach to revisit the current legislation on the 5 % VAT considering the new social and economic realities.
