AREI participation at the session of the Labour and Social Protection Committee (Chamber of Deputies) on the amendments to the Law on Social House of Constructors
On December 18th, 2018, the AREI President, Ms. Antoanela Comsa participated at the session of the Labour and Social Protection Committee in the Chamber of Deputies, to present the AREI position on the amendments proposed to the Law 215/1997 on Social House of Constructors.
Meeting with IGSU representatives on the topic of civil protection shelters
On December 17th, 2018, the AREI members participated in a meeting with representatives of the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations (IGSU) to discuss about the peculiarities of the requirements applicable to the civil protection shelters in new constructions.
AREI General Assembly Meeting 2018

Working meeting with ISC representatives on constructions authorization procedure
On October 11th, 2018, AREI members attended a working meeting with representatives from the State Inspectorate of Construction (ISC) to discuss about the options and relevant solutions in order to improve the procedure on new constructions authorization, managed by ISC.
Meeting with ISC management on topics relevant for the real-estate industry
On October 9th, 2018, Ms. Antoanela Comsa – AREI Board President and the AREI executive team have met with the State Inspectorate of Construction (ISC) management with a view of initiating a policy dialogue between the institution and the association, oriented at optimizing the authorization procedure of new constructions.
Meeting with representatives of the Ministry of Environment on waste management from construction activities
On September 11th, 2018, AREI Board President, Ms. Antoanela Comsa and members of the executive team participated in a meeting with representatives from the General Department on Wastes from the Ministry of Environment. The discussion focused on the new legal initiative developed by the Ministry regulating the area of waste management from construction activities.
Working meeting with IGSU management on fire safety authorization regulations
On July 11th, 2018, AREI members attended a working meeting with representatives from the Prevention Department of the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations (IGSU) to discuss about the specifics in interpretation and application of the fire safety authorization regulations.
Meeting with representatives of the Bucharest General Mayor’s office
On July 3rd, 2018, a meeting between AREI and representatives of the Bucharest General Mayor’s office, Ms. Gabriela Firea took place. The discussion focused on development projects in real estate and infrastructure, and aimed at establishing a sustainable dialogue and partnership with the public local authorities in this regard.
Meeting with Mr. Dan Tudorache, Bucharest District 1st Mayor
On June 29th, 2018, a meeting between AREI members and Bucharest District 1st Mayor, Mr. Dan Tudorache took place. The main topic of discussion is the recently adopted Decision of the 1st District Local Council establishing the obligation of developing a PUD for every new investment, except individual housing.
